Warning of the month: SELLOFFVACATIONS.COM

( 1-877-SellOff (735-5633)

Recently sell off vacations has gained severe notoriety for its bad customer service, and wasting their clients’ money. That has been reflected by several internet reviews, where there are complaints from different clients are available. Although complaint against this particular company is not much rare, in present this company crossed all the limits. Exactly that’s why we decided to review selloffvacations.com on the basis of client’s statement.

Ethan Calaway, an engineer from Markham, took a package given on selloffvacations.com which became a misery for him. In other words, he was scammed by sell off vacations. We would like to inform you about the complete plot of scam made by sell off vacations. So, no one has to face such scam ever in their life.

This Ethan guy is quite enthusiastic about visiting new places around the world. Whenever he finds some gap in his tight schedule, he tries to make the best use of it. Cienfuegos, Cuba was one of the must visit place in his list for a long time; and he adores beaches, thus, this place has everything to allure a traveler like Ethan. As well as that, the price of the whole package was $288 only. To keep everything in order, he visited local sell off vacations office instead of booking on the website. Once again he was informed about the details of the package. He didn’t find anything bad about the deal, so, he paid the fee of the package including tax. The official told him to wait for their call when everything becomes confirmed.

He kept waiting and waiting, but there was no response from sell off vacations side. Then he contacted sell off vacations by phone, the operator took his detail. Again there was no reply. This time he directly contacted the head office of sell off vacations. He was told that since the package was taken from a branch office, he needs to contact the office. The affair of branch offices are not under their jurisdiction, therefore, they are unable to help. How silly!

No other way was left for Ethan except visiting the local sell off vacation office. In addition, the online booking page on selloffvacations.com was not working too. As he visited sell off vacations office, he didn’t find anyone to help him. They all seemed too busy.

Nevertheless, after two hours of waiting, he finally got an agent to talk about his problem. Actually, the problem was with sell off vacations as Ethan had already paid the whole fee, thus, it’s sell off vacations responsibility. The agent didn’t even apologize for making him wait, like it’s quite normal to keep someone waiting for a longtime. These are the clear signs that sell off vacations has lack of efficiency. It doesn’t make any difference when client wait in their office; thereby, lose valuable work hours. Anyhow, the agent checked all the booking made on the date Ethan did his own. Surprisingly, Ethan’s was not found. Is this really possible after paying the whole amount? Then the agent rechecked the documents, finally his booking information was found, but most of the information was filled wrongly!

As the holiday season was near to finish, Ethan asked for plane tickets and other documents related to reservation in Cienfuegos. Only the airline ticket was confirmed with wrong name, nothing found about hotel reservation. During that time people were going to popular holiday spots in heavy number. Moreover, number of good hotels and resorts is not high in Cuba as it is still a socialist country. Owing to this, it was impossible to get a hotel reservation at that moment.

Therefore, Ethan asked sell off vacations agent to refund the money. He was totally refused by saying sell off vacations is not taking any responsibility as the information was given by the client, that mean’s Ethan. It is completely a falsehood. The truth is Ethan gave all the information correctly, but the sell off vacations official wrote them wrongly. In one word, sell off vacations is wholly reckless with no experience in this field.

That’s how Ethan’s trip was wasted by sell off vacations. Many of you might fall for the packages offered by sell off vacations, yet these are just to scam people.

  1. Sell Off Vacations is the most horrible company for customer service. I make about two to three trips per year. I made the main fault of life as I did my current bookings through this firm. The agent misrepresented the service that I was booking and the customer service would not do a thing to aid. They do nothing to assist the purchasers when there are matters with the provider. They merely desire to amass the money and leave you stuck. I've had my lesson and I'm not gonna book with them in the near future. Speaking to the Customer Service Dept. and the so labeled Manager of Customer Service was a big let down, offering no support. The firm isn't of good standing at all. For the last few years I've been using http://www.theholidayhotels.com and receiving superior results.

  2. Sell off vacations is something that is offered by some companies at off seasons. What they do is, they have contacts with the concerned individual of hotels, resorts or condos and during off season, they avail the best price for you that are cheaper and fit your pocket.
